hybrid central american (in)visibility

i would love to talk to you about this (in)visibility. i am struggling to feel valid in connecting with my cubanness when nobody can see or hear it. while a people might be marginalized, if others can see and hear a person’s connection with the group, there seems to be some solidarity, some foundation in that alone. what do we(me) do to share blood that won’t cool when the connection is only recognizable under the skin?
